CNY 2006

Happy Chinese New YEar!! Today's the first day of CNY :>

As usual, went to my ah ma hse for breakfast then set off to visit my other relatives... Every year is the same, shaking hands with those relatives that i really see them ONCE a year, then collect ang baos & help myself to the snacks :>

But this year is a bit diff... Cos I drove my family ard! Hoho!! ExcitinG!! Asked one of my uncle for permission to drive the family car & off i go!! Hee... :> First time driving on expressway, so cooL! It's a Toyota Wish that I drove today... For those who duno what's tat... It's a 7-seater MPV!! Which means, it's longer than normal Salon cars!!! Ok, I managed to park the car for once la.. Not too bad ehh.. :P

Drove from Tampines to Yishun then to Zion Road & lastly back to Hougang... All travelling by expressway... Guess I had enough of driving for now... haha... Rather tired ok!!!

Jus reached home not too long... Gonna rest soon I guess... I know it's kinda early but driving for tat period of time wore me out le.. hehe... *lousy*

Will be visiting his parents tml, then to my ah mas' place n bai nian then prob go catch a movie or sth... :>

Time to update a lil

Ok, last entry was 3rd Jan which was 3weeks ago... My sister had asked me to update my bloggy... Since I'm already late in sleeping, might as well come here & update a lil... :>

Updates for past 2weeks...
Last 2 weeks was quite a relax one @ work... Y!? Have I been a lazy ger @ work?? NO!!! I was on MC last week ok!! Here's the "story".... :>

Keith was sick on the 11th (Wed) & so his MO (medical officer) allowed him to book out from camp... So he went home & rest but later in the evening, he told me he was having fever... We were supposed to be "quarrelling" that day & I'm supposed to be angry de hoR! hahah... But guess what, I still appeared at his place after work tat evening, just to make sure he's ok... :> *caring eh?!* :P

The fever continued... & his dad took him to NUH A & E on fri nite... Planned to go to his place & visit him after work but he said he wanted to be admitted into NUH -_-!! So went down to NUH instead... His fever went up & down & up & down (sounds like dengue eh?!) but it wasn't... Finally, his fever stablized on Sun but the blood platelet count wasn't improving at the same time... Normal count is 150 but his keep declining from the day he was admitted (from 127 till 118)!! Naturally, the doc won't allow him to discharge! haha... Now he wanna discharge, but the doc wont alloW! Hoho...!!

Continued to stay in NUH for the next few days... I've been travelling to & fro b/w home & NUH for that few days... Then fever camE! -_-!!! Had a slight fever on sat but was better on sun, so went ahead with my plan to visit him in NUH... But it got worse when i went home on Sun nite, so much so that I reported MC on Mon to rest & make sure I recover FULLY...

Went bac to work on tue (17th), everything was alright till Wed... The heaviness in my head came back & I could feel the giddiness... -_-!! So took half day & see doc & got a MC for the next day as well! hO!

Finally, he was discharged on Wed (18th) but the doc only gave him MC till 19th... So he gotta report back to camp on the 19th.. Poor thinggyyy....

Ok, so now, had an idea y it was quite an easy week @ work for me for the past week!? hehe... :P

Ok, done w updating for the past weeks... Now abt sth else.. :>

Recently, Keith started an online game & it happened to be the one I used to played years back! I forgot who intro me but I certainly rem that I played it b4... Kinda interesting... It's on turn-based kinda of game... Here's the webby: www.the-reincarnation.com

Now, I've been monitoring his acc for him everyday... Feel like signing up for my own acc, but scared that I'll be stucked to it!! Bad...!!

Planning Holidays...
I've been planning a trip to Pulau Redang since last Dec... Planned to travel to this beautiful island during Jul/Aug. Reason no 1 being my 21st bday. Reason no 2 being Keith mayb able to get some off days. Reason no 3 being the University pp having holidays, so might be able to get some frens along :>

That's my first planned holiday trip... :>

The 2nd one will be going to Mt Ophir in ard 3rd week of May. Nth has been confirmed yet but most prob will be going with my grp of church frens... :> Time to get my butt off the chair & do some trekking... Heheh... :p

The 3rd one hopefully is the Church Family Camp. This one wld be prob in Dec, ard Christmas maybe... Had one in 2004 @ Pahang... Was really an enjoyable 1 week @ Pahang... :> Hope to be able to get away during that period to join the camp...

Ok, that's all folks... It's bed time...!!!!

3rd of Jan

First day @ work for the Year 2006. Nth much in office.. Rather quiet.. I suppose things will get busier soon?! So I'll just sit back & relax while I still can.. :P

Had dinner @ Church on the 31st. "A Walk to Remember". That's the name of the dinner... Wonderful buffet dinner sponsered by our teachers & memorable pictures done in slide show format were shown... It's really a walk to remember when watchin the slide show.. :>

Been helping out in the Events Team for the Year 2005. Will be continuing my service in the IT/Creative Team for this year... Didn't do much last year, so I'm hoping to be able to do more for God this year.. :>

Resolution for 2006
1. To do QT everyday
2. Continue to tithe every mth
3. Spend more time with God & church activities
4. Meet up with my frens more often (meet him less often? :P)
5. Continue to work hard in my job
6. Aim to enrol in a part-time course
7. To gym twice a week
8. Spend more time @ home for dinner & chatting session with my sisters & parents :>

Hmm, done..! I think 8 goals for the year is already ALOT to achieve le.. Dun be greedy... hehe... :> Didn't mention abt him in any of my Resolution?! I didn't forget u la... No worries...

Will continue to love u MORE, understand u better, observe my surroundings more (u always say i blur blur.. -_-!), & of cos if God allows, I'll like to enter the church with u... :P *shys*
