For DaD

Fathers are wonderful people
Too little understood,
And we do not sing their praises
As often as we should...

For Fathers struggle daily
To live up to their "image"
As a protector & provider.

And perhaps that is the reason
We sometimes get the notion,
That Fathers are not subject
To the thing we call "emotion".

But if you look inside Dad's heart,
You'll find he is sentimental
And as "soft" as he can be...

Fathers are wonderful
In a million different ways,
And they merit loving compliments
And accolades of praise.

For the only reason Dad aspires
for fortune and success
Is to make the family proud of him
And to bring them happiness...

Felt very lucky & blessed to have such a nice Dad, not forgetting my Mum as well... If not, there wun be ME!! In the family, my Dad is a peace-maker while my Mum is the strict one (always lecturing us)... But i guess this is the way the family should work... One is 'soft' & the other is 'hard'... If not, i think i will be a super spoil brat by now.. :P

Wanna thx them for the 20yrs of bringing me up... Though i may be super stubborn & seem uncaring towards them at times, I still love them!! (I don't express this with words like "I love u Dad/Mum.. Cos I'm not gd with words, u see... :P)
